Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Georgia, Mr. Ivan Jestrab, Deputy Head of Mission, Ms. Veronika Sidó and Deputy Director of LEPL the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mr. Pridon Diasamidze paid a visit to the MIA Archives.
On June 13 the students of Ilia State University, department of history paid an introductory visit to the archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The major goal of the visit was to learn the history of the archives.
The Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, with the assistance of other MIA departments, started to produce a fiction-documentary film on the basis of the criminal case and important documents concerning Ilia Chavchavadze.
Minister of Internal Affairs Irakli Gharibashvili has solemnly opened the bust of Noe Ramishvili. Noe Ramishvili was the first Minister of Internal Affairs sin the history of Independent Georgia.

The 2014 Calendar is dedicated to the Georgian heroes. The publication covers biographical details of
those twelve Georgian patriots for whom the most important was their homeland. For this reason, they
sacrificed themselves for their country.
Presentation of the film Lost History was held at the Police Academy building of the Ministry of Internal
Affairs of Georgia.

On March 31, 2014 the presentation of The Archival Bulletin fall edition, no. 15, and showing of the documentary film Bloody Tbilisi of 9 March was held in the MIA Academy.
On April 16 the students of Interdisciplinary, International and English-speaking MA Program “European and Caucasian Studies”, faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University paid a visit to the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Aim of the visit covers issues of exhumation of Georgian citizens who were executed and repressed during the soviet era, sharing experience of polish scientists in the field of DNA analysis and grave location activities, which will simplify the process of finding graves of the deceased Georgian citizens and identification procedures.

On May 20-23, 2013 on the invitation of the Institute of National Remembrance - Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation, a delegation from Georgia paid an official visit to Poland.
