The Archive Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is responsible for discussing and responding to the written appeals by public and juridical persons within Georgia and abroad. The Archive Administration operates according to the Georgian legislation and normative acts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Responsibility Chart:
- Receive and talk with the citizens;
- Deliver archival data, information, extracts and identified copies;
- Provide the citizens with archival materials (documents) for studying.

2.1. Archival materials (documents)
The Archive Administration prepares and delivers identified copies of the following preserved documents: criminal cases, protocols, normative documents and acts, verdicts, resolutions, decisions, codes, decrees, instructions and others.
2.2. Files of Former Collaborators.
The Archive Administration prepares and delivers identified copies of the following documents: data from the files of former collaborators and military cards. Besides it deals with pension problems.

While the citizen and the applicant must show the certificates and their copies, the attorney must show the certificate, copy of the certificate and the warrant.
